Utilize this online resource for finding and checking out books:
  • VALNet Catalog allows you to search the VALNet catalog, check library hours and information, or look at your library account.
  • Search and Request You can search the VALNet catalog for desired materials.  To place a request for that item, select the desired title, click "Make a Request" under "Actions" on the right side of the screen.  You will want to have your library card handy. As you place the request, be sure to select the library with the desired item(s) and don't forget to specify the library where you will pick up the item(s). This is vital for successful requests.
  • Renew Books will take you to your library account login. Here you will find items currently checked out on your card along with due dates , fines and fees, and status of any requests.
