Our Response to COVID-19

Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lewiston Parks and Recreation Department is constantly examining how best to share our existing resources. The department is focusing its efforts on maintaining facilities and programs allowed to run under current state and local guidelines.

We are working diligently on a daily basis to ensure that our services are being provided to the public safely and all of our users are able to continue to exercise, play, learn and enjoy our park system and programs.

We have decided to eliminate our printed program guide for the time being, and all activities that we are providing, are available to view on this website or through our Facebook page. We have continued to offer some of our regular activities with modifications and have added a number of new activities as well. Take a look and see what all we have to offer!

The City of Lewiston is aligned with the Rebound Idaho regulations which can be found at https://rebound.idaho.gov/stages-of-reopening/. We have also created COVID-19 protocols and guidelines in conjunction with Public Health - Idaho North Central District and the Lewiston School District to ensure we can continue to provide you with recreational outlets.

If you have any specific questions or concerns related to COVID-19 and our facilities, activities and park system, please don’t hesitate to contact us at our main office within the Lewiston Community Center located at 1424 Main St or by phone at 208-746-2313.
