The Lewiston Police Department no longer handles VIN inspections at the police station. In order to consolidate services, VIN inspections will now be handled through Nez Perce County Vehicle Licensing at 1230 Main Street in Lewiston. LPD will still respond for over sized or inoperable vehicles at your residence in the city limits, call 208-746-0171.
