Parade and Public Assembly Packets (Effective October 1, 2022)

A public assembly permit is not required for a spontaneous event; provided, however, that participants in spontaneous events do not block or interfere with the normal flow of traffic on any public street/alley or block pedestrian access to any sidewalk unless they have received prior written permission from the Public Works Director. A person conducting a spontaneous event is encouraged to notify the Public Works Director about such event as soon as possible.
