Forms of Government

There are two forms of government in the State of Idaho: Council-Manager and Mayor-Council. Proposition One, an initiative regarding the City of Lewiston's form of government, will be on the November 2, 2021 ballot. Lewiston voters will decide whether to retain the City's organization under the current Council-Manager plan by voting "yes," or to change the form of government to a Mayor-Council plan by voting "no."
