1. How do I report a pothole?

Please call Public Works at 208-746-1316 extension 0 or email publicworks@cityoflewiston.org and let us know the location.

2. How do I request a speed limit change?

Please contact Public Works at 208-746-1316 extension 0, by email at publicworks@cityoflewiston.org, or by filling out your request directly using our Traffic Request Form. Please note: we require a form to be filled out for all requests regardless of your method in contacting our department to ensure proper tracking of each request.

3. Who takes care of the broken/cracked sidewalks?

Sidewalk problems or complaints should be reported to the Public Works Department at 208-746-1316 or by email to publicworks@cityoflewiston.org.

4. How do I report a traffic signal or school crossing light not working properly?

Please contact Public Works at 208-746-1316 or by email to publicworks@cityoflewiston.org.  If this is after regular business hours, please contact the Police Department at 208-746-0171.

5. How do I report a street light that is out?

You can report a street light that is burnt out by calling Avista at 208-798-1472.
